POP rivets (blind) closed end in aluminum are used to connect two pieces of material in a quick efficient way. Closed End Pop Rivets in Aluminum are used due to the ease and inexpensive qualities of the metal. In addition, Aluminum also creates a much lighter Rivet than its Stainless Steel counterpart. In this selection of closed end rivets the hat and mandrel are both made of Aluminum. Closed end rivets are used because of their watertight seal.

How to measure a Rivet:
First, measure the diameter of the rivet itself with a dial caliper. Then, just like measuring a bolt, measure the underside of the rivet head to the end of the rivet head. Make sure that you do not measure to the end of the mandrel, you only want the length of the HAT and washer. The grip range of the rivet will be 1/8″ shorter than the measured length. EXAMPLE: If the length of the hat is 1/2″ the rivet is actually a 3/8″ grip (.375), also known as a 4-6 rivet. Please refer to the diagram and charts below for grip ranges, grades, etc.
Grip range is not the same as length, the rivet must expand or swell out on the backside in order to hold the rivet together.

Returns
Returns are accepted for 30 days for Domestic orders and 14 days for International orders from purchase date by contacting us for a RMA number. Buyer pays return shipping and insurance costs. Returned open packages will be subject to partial refunds.
