A rare example of a new unworn sporting country Bernard Weatherill waistcoat. Included will be all of the original tailor’s documents (original measurements and specifics) written up at the time the order was placed. Tailors documents indicate a made date of (3 – 9 – 1970). The coat’s condition is new, unworn outstanding, free of any damage.
This coat is offered with original Made in England polished solid brass buttons.
Waistcoat is scarlet (red) in a cavalry twill. Inner lining is in a fine off white cotton cloth.
Design details: Six button front, single chest pocket, dual breast pockets, red silk satin back side with adjustable belt. Lovely tailoring, the entire garment shows intricate hand sewn detailing.
Overall condition is as new unworn, no holes nor repairs. Amazingly well preserved. No unpleasant odors. Interior lining is in excellent unstained condition.
As to the size, it is a men’s waist coat.  The size we estimate to be about a men’s size 38 regular.

The key is to get the knee seam just right and the price of this piece of perfection is £1200.
